Yamada introduces a new series of Groundable Acetal Air-Powered Double Diaphragm Pumps in the ?” and ?” fluid port sizes with flows up to 15GPM. As the pumps are not able to build enough charge to ignite flammable vapors, the non-metallic Acetal Pumps are ideal for solvents or solvent based fluids such as paints, thinners, inks, fuels and other volatile liquids. To ensure safe operation, the Acetal material will route electrostatic build-up to a single pump grounding strap which is then affixed to an earth grounded item.

In addition to Acetal, Yamada manufacturers Polypropylene, Kynar? (PVDF), Teflon? (PTFE), Aluminum, Cast Iron, 316 Stainless Steel, and Hastelloy Pumps with multiple internal elastomer options to meet and exceed your most demanding fluid and powder transfer requirements. The New Yamada 2:1 high pressure pump was specifically designed for applications where 100 PSI maximum pump operating pressure is not enough to overcome system requirements. The flow rate if roughly half of the same size pump output, though a discharge pressure of 200 PSI can be achieved with only 100 PSI air inlet pressure supplied. The surface area (driving both diaphragms) to double the output.
