Durable cast iron construction, 24 gallon vertical tank, 5.7 acfm at 90 psi, Equiped with wheels for easy transport, 2 Horsepower Single Stage Garage Mate Air Compressor,This cast iron pump uses separately cast cylinders in a V-Configuration. This configuration insures 360° cooling of the cylinders. Maintenance is a snap with the oversized opening to the crankcase and the cast iron cylinders individually bolted to the frame. A centrifugal unloader is used on all high pressure compressors to prevent loaded start-up of the compressor, thus extending the motor life. Due to the unique overhung crankshaft design, the T30 totally packaged compressor has single piece connecting rods – less parts to maintain. The dipper portion of the connecting rod, provides simple effective lubrication to critical pump components through splash lubrication. The copper finned tube construction of the intercooler provides for a maximum cooling area. The intercooler is able to keep the compressor operating temperature low thus extending the valve life. An intercooler pressure gauge(s) (except for models 231and 223) are used as a tool to indicate when valve maintenance is required without the costly teardown inspections. |
